Back-to-the-Farm Vacations

Enjoy a true back-to-the-farm vacation at Colorado’s Alpaca Angel Acres. You can get as involved as you want in farm activities, to see what it’s really like to live on an alpaca ranch:

• Help Eddie and Laurie as they start their day with these sweet tempered animals.
• Participate in feeding, watering and clean-up of the communal dung pile!
• Learn about the different tools necessary for alpaca herd management.
• Participate in a halter training session.
• Learn about alpaca fiber characteristics such as density, crimp and standard deviation.

At the end of the day enjoy a peaceful quiet evening on the deck of the guest house listening to the tinkle of the water garden, the whinny of the horses, moo of the local cows, and the hum of our alpacas as they deliver their unique warm fuzzy. Feel your cares melt away!
